Sport and movement have been a priority in my life since the age of 8, up until I was 21, when a sports injury forced me to pause my competitive career (4 years of athletics, 3 years of diving, 2 years of sport shooting, and 3 years of taekwondo). After my recovery, in 2014 I completed fitness instructor and yoga teacher training at IWI, and for three years I led functional cross training sessions and hatha yoga classes.
Unfortunately, my initial enthusiasm led to burnout, so I changed direction and moved into a creative field, while continuing to attend CrossFit classes as a participant. After spending five years at a desk, I realized that—like in many areas of life—the key for me lies in balance. Alongside my career as a jewelry maker and goldsmith, I have now returned to leading group classes.
Drawing from my diverse sports background and my own experience with injuries, I offer preventive and varied functional training sessions. In addition to developing strength and endurance, I place strong emphasis on improving coordination, balance, and mobility.
In my hatha yoga classes, my main goal is to create harmony between body, mind, and spirit. As an instructor, I pay special attention to common posture issues and muscle imbalances caused by modern lifestyles, and work to correct them.
