In the case of an infrared cabin, instead of an electric or wood stove, the room is heated with infrared rays. Infrared rays belong to the invisible light range, with a wavelength of 2-25 micrometers, penetrate deeply into the body and heat it from the inside out. The blood vessels dilate, increasing blood circulation, thus accelerating metabolism and increasing the body’s resistance. Excess and harmful substances are eliminated with sweat during the metabolic process caused by cell activation and blood circulation.

Due to the different operation compared to a normal sauna, there are also differences in its effect.

1. The infrared sauna operates at a lower temperature, which means a more pleasant stay indoors.

2. Its 30-minute use means a loss of 300 calories. Compared to a normal sauna, its use reshapes the figure better, is more effective in relaxing the muscles, and stimulates the body shaping better with the intensive circulation of the lymphatic fluid. Therefore, it is better for weight loss.

3. It has a spectacular effect on the skin, thanks to its pore cleansing and cell regeneration effect.

4. The amount of sweating is about three times that of a traditional sauna, it has a 20-60 times detoxifying potential and there is a 3-7 times greater amount of non-water-like components in the sweat.

House Rules

1. The F&M Center provides guests with gender-separated changing rooms and showers, as well as co-educational wellness use.
2. The locker, shower gel and hairdryer in the changing room are included in the ticket and pass prices.
3. The wellness area can only be used in appropriate clothing (swimsuits).
4. The sauna can only be used with a sauna sheet.
5. The use of slippers is mandatory in the wellness area and its lobby, as well as in the showers.
6. The fixtures and equipment located in the restrooms can only be used for their intended purpose; it is prohibited to throw or place garbage, waste (e.g. rags, intimate pads), or hazardous materials in the drain or toilet.
